     Burnout sneaks up on you and if you don’t know the warning signs or take the time to care for yourself it will consume you. My experiences have led me to places I never thought I’d go. They also have taught me how important it is to take care of myself. If I am not cared for I am not able to take care of my children, I’m not able to work, I’m not able to function. 

      The Frazzled Mom takes you through the initial steps to journey back from burnout. High stress caring  isn’t a dirty little secret. In the midst of the often-chaotic world of caregiving and parenting it is difficult to visualize how self-care is even a possibility never mind where to begin. We focus on what you need to be healthy and complete. That looks different for everyone. Experiencing parental stress and overwhelm compounded by developmental stages, adolescence, mental health (anxiety, depression, ADHD, etc.) of children and/or parents. “My child is only getting worse and I don’t know what to do!” Sound familiar?
